Netgrape (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we look after it, in line with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect
- Contact details you give us: your name, email address, phone number and the message you send via our contact form, WhatsApp, email or phone.
- Service information: details about your devices, website or hosting that you share so we can do the work.
We don’t run visitor accounts and we don’t collect payment card details through this website.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote.
- To deliver and support the services you’ve asked for.
- To invoice for completed work and keep basic business records.
We only use your information for the purpose you gave it to us. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Third parties
- Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts and an embedded map from Google Maps. When your browser loads these, Google receives your IP address as part of the normal working of the web.
- If you contact us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy apply to that conversation.
- We may use reputable service providers (such as email and hosting providers) to run our business. They process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Storage and security
Enquiries arrive in our business email and are kept only as long as needed to help you and to meet legal record-keeping requirements. We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to a small business, and as an IT provider we take that seriously.
Your rights under POPIA
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Object to processing, or withdraw consent, at any time.
- Complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
